Hadley weighs how much? Whoa!

I can't believe Hadley is already 2 months old! He is a BIG BOY--14 lbs. 1.5 oz!!! But he's not fat--he's also tall 24 1/4 in.!! So he is the ideal weight for his height--he's in the 94% percentile for weight and 89% percentile for height, so he is bigger than 9 out of 10 boys his age. Watch out! Here are some pics and from the last month:

My friends Sandra and Karen threw Hadley and me a shower--it was fun to see old friends from growing up and new friends I've made! Thanks for coming and all the sweet gifts!

Hadley was given his name and blessing on October 11th. It was a beautiful and spiritual day full of wonderful family and friends. Jeremy gave a beautiful, powerful blessing and Hadley was so peaceful the whole meeting. Thank you to all who made special arrangements to come--especially those who drove for hours: Somer, Timbre, Jaren and Kristen from Provo, President Somers from Draper, and Jake all the way from Idaho!! Hadley looked so handsome in his little suit! With his namesakes: Matt HADLEY, Jake TAYLOR, and Jeremy YOUNG!Jeremy's mom came out for the blessing and stayed for about 11 days. Hadley loved having her there and my family and I all loved her southern cookin'! This pic was taken at about 5am before we took her to the airport so that's why everyone looks so tired!
This is the first smile that I was able to capture on camera! This is how Hadley loves to sleep--with his arms spread eagle--ready for a big hug!We had a wonderful Halloween! Hadley was given wonderful Halloween attire from 4 different people that came together so nicely:

Oranged-Striped Onsie: Judy (Jeremy's former assistant manager)
Bib: Jake Taylor (His name sake)
Orangd Striped Beanie: Nicole Holdaway and Laurie Frisbey (from the ward)
Candy-corn socks (not shown) and shorts: Meree Hadley (His namesakes' wife)
And he's laying on my breastfeeding cover :

Hadley's One Month Old!

It's Hadley's one month birthday today! Time has flown by! Jeremy and I love Hadley so much and couldn't ask for a better son! We love getting to know him and his personality. He is a little sucker--he loves to suck all of the time and is a great eater--I think he already weighs 10 lbs!! He is pretty consistant when he sleeps at night--he wakes up around 1, 4 and 7am. We love his silly face expressions and just cuddling up to him! Here are some of my favorite pics and moments of Hadley during the past month!

I can't believe Hadley will already be 1 week old tomorrow! He is such a wonderful baby boy and Jeremy and I grow more in love with him each day! We can't get enough of cuddling and staring at him! And we can't get enough of his hair--we love it! He is definitely a gift sent from heaven and we feel so blessed to be his parents!

My Room! The bed is for mommy! (She spends a lot of time in there!)

I gave Grandma the honor of being the first one to get peed on during a diaper change! Daddy was second and mommy was third!

Next to my 5 1/2 month old cousin Harlee--I'll be as big as her soon!

I love my Aunt Kimmer!

And I love my Uncle Trent, Aunt Amber, and cousins Kennedy and Trevor!

My first picture with my eyes open! 6 days old and baskin' in the sun!

We Love You Hadley!

Evening with President Eyring

We had the opportunity to listen to President Eyring yesterday at the Dixie State College Convocation. We were able to get really great seats (4th row, at eye level). Jeremy and I went with our good friends Matt and Meree and we all felt that he was looking right at us as he spoke. He was HILARIOUS! Because it was a school rather than a church sponsored event he didn't talk much religion with the exception that we are all children of God and we have a moral obligation to treat others as we would want to be treated. The picture I took above is of him showing us his iPhone--he talked about how we would be a part of his family journal (that he would write in his Mac that evening) and then he decided would take a picture of us to share with the family. His advice to students was to study something that we think about even when we don't have to. He also said part of our motivation for studying and obtaining an education should be for the thousands of people in the future whose lives we would affect. My testimony was definately strengthened just by being his presence and feeling of his love for each of us. I feel I have more of a personal connection with him now that we've shared a few laughs. I also was touched by the emotion that came to his voice whenever he talked about his children...I am looking forward to having a son very soon and the connection we will share.

My Tribute to my Tribute!

We sold one of our cars today--the one that I drove. Now that I'm not working I don't have as much need for it. It was a good car and I will have many fond memories of driving it. It served me well during the cold, snowy drives around Provo and Santa Fe--I felt protected. But now Jeremy and I will share the Nissan Murano and I can't complain because it is a VERY nice car. Goodbye Tribute--I hope you serve your new owners well!

The Pics You've Been Waiting For....My Belly!

Everyone's been asking for one thing during my pregnancy--to see pictures of my growing belly! So here they are. They are all seven weeks apart, except the last two are only 6 weeks apart. In another six weeks, I hope to be holding my baby in my arms!

14 Weeks (a little over 3 months--just barely starting to show)

21 weeks (about 5 months)

28 Weeks (7 months)
34 weeks (a little over 8 months)
There you go! Aren't Hadley and I cute? :)

We're Here!

We've now been in St. George for almost two weeks. The picture above is from a dinner we had with our Santa Fe Family at Applebee's before we left. They are all friends that Jeremy worked with and it was a memorable night that I don't think any of us will forget. Many tears were shed and it's nice to know we'll always have such a strong connection with them. They SPOILED us with several needed baby gifts: hundreds of diapers and wipes, lots of clothes, blankets, pacifiers, a diaper bag, a baby rocker, bibs, shampoos, lotions, toys and even cash. They are so kind to us and I know that Hadley will love all of their gifts.

It's been great to be around our family--we've been able to spend more time and do more activities with them in the past two weeks than we've done during our entire marriage! We feel very blessed and are looking forward to meeting baby Hadley in around 6 weeks!
